In order to serve you best, we will need to gather some information to tell us about your travel style, preferences, and unique interests. To discuss how we can best serve your travel needs you will kindly complete a short inquiry form that we send before our initial consultation.

Once received, each prospective traveler has a 30-60 minute phone consultation to review their travel preferences and specific needs in greater detail and to ensure a mutual fit.


Designing

Based on your input and preferences, we will begin the design of a customized itinerary. Our proposals vary based on complexity and the size of the trip, and range from emails with our recommended options to multi-page, detailed itineraries. The proposal will include detailed information about the accommodations, any exclusive amenities we offer, recommended tours and activities, and general logistics.

Our design phase may take 10-15 business days or longer to complete, depending on the complexity of the proposal.


Execution

Once your itinerary has been refined and the final travel options (flights, accommodations, activities, transfers) selected, we will book all the elements and provide you with detailed confirmations and documents to ensure a seamless travel experience.

During this time we will also work to assist with any dining reservations, spa appointments, event tickets, or additional activities you may want to include.

We will share your final customized itinerary with you in PDF format and in a mobile itinerary app which we invite you to download for easy access while traveling. We will share this with you 2 weeks prior to departure to ensure you have time to review and ask any final questions.

For those who value highly customized travel design and execution, our fee-based, fiduciary structure creates anadvisoryrelationship built on trust and transparency, free from commission incentives, based solely on client satisfaction.

Non-refundable service fees are payable after the complimentary consultation call, and before the trip designing process starts.

Our services include:

  • Unparalleled concierge support from your own, dedicated, senior travel advisor (designer) and core team
  • Unlimited bespoke itinerary planning and execution with expertly curated listings of hotels, restaurants, and experiences
  • Expert travel advisory, with frequent updates on destination trends and news from our collective network
  • Access to private, state-of-the-art, mobile app with all of your itineraries, travel documents, maps and directions for all of the places on your trip
  • Special upgrades, breakfast for two, exclusive amenities, spa credit, late check out/early check in, and promotions whenever possible.

Fees

Customized itineraries

Amavio Travel charges a per trip research and planning fee starting at$400, which is non-refundable and non-transferable and due just after the initial consultation. The trip fee includes consultation, research, planning, and quote preparation. During this introductory stage, we also are tapping into our global network of preferred suppliers, as well as our professional expertise. Once pleased with the itinerary, we confirm and service all parts of the trip: flights if needed, accommodations, transfers, on the ground transportation, guided tours and activities. We also offer recommendations for unique experiences, theater tickets, restaurants, local attractions, and more.

Starting at$400

Cruises Only

Amavio Travel exempts the planning fee for established clients engaging in single cruise bookings, wherein the client personally selects the destination and route. This is intended to afford our clients the opportunity to relish supplementary negotiated amenities and other advantageous perks. However, for pre and post-cruise itineraries, fees are subject to variation based on the intricacy of the travel plans.

Airline tickets

We have an elite flight team charged with finding our clients the best flight solution at either equal to or better than market fares. We access all public fares as you see online in addition to accessing non-public fares on select international first/business class routes.

Group travel

This includes travel with a group of travelers (family reunions, multi-generational travel, incentive groups, reward trips and more) starting with a minimum of 4 rooms or cabins.

Starting at$120per traveler

Honeymoon travel

This includes travel for the purpose of celebrating marriage. We provide special touches and have access to exclusive amenities such as complimentary breakfast, extra resort credits, a room upgrade or a spa treatment to help you celebrate your life together. These extra touches are what we excel at.

Change & cancellation fees

  • Customized itineraries :$400cancellation fee to be charged to the credit card on file should the trip be cancelled for any reason
  • Hotels:$75cancellation fee per hotel or cruise reservation.
  • Flights: Any reissued tickets will require a$75(domestic) and$125(international) ticket reissue or exchange fee,in addition to any supplier-imposed penalties.Penalties depend on airline booking terms and conditions.
  • Last minute change fees:$200change fee should there be last minute trip changes within 7 days of departure.
